Custom Linen Drapery,
Tailored for Toronto Homes

Linen is the fabric that makes a room feel both effortless and considered — a natural weave that softens light and adds quiet texture to a space.

Why linen drapery

The fabric that looks effortless on purpose

Cut and sewn to your measurements, each panel is weighted to hang with a relaxed, architectural fall. Left unlined, linen filters daylight into a soft, even glow; add a lining — or a hidden blackout layer — and the same fabric works in a bedroom. It pairs naturally with our sheer curtains and blackout drapery when you want to layer light and privacy.

Natural texture

A visible, organic weave that adds depth and warmth no synthetic can match.

Soft, filtered light

Linen diffuses daylight into a gentle glow while keeping the room bright.

Relaxed, architectural fall

Weighted hems and full panels give that effortless, gently undone drape.

Made to your window

Cut and sewn to size, lined or unlined, and finished by hand.

What linen brings to a room

Quiet texture, on your terms

01Calm, textured warmth

Linen's natural weave anchors a room without shouting — the easy, lived-in luxury behind that "quietly expensive" look.

02Light, your way

Unlined, it glows and filters softly; lined, it adds body and privacy; blackout-lined, it darkens a bedroom — the same linen face, three different jobs.

03Breathable & enduring

A natural fibre that ages gracefully and wears beautifully. Add motorization to glide full-height panels with a word.

The Starlight approach

Tailored to fall just right

Weighted to hang true

Linen wants to relax — that's the appeal, but it has to be handled. We sew generous fullness, weight the hems, and steam every panel at installation so the folds break cleanly instead of sagging.

Lined or unlined, your call

Unlined for that luminous, sun-through-linen glow; lined for more body, structure, and privacy; blackout-lined when the same look needs to darken a bedroom. We help you choose per room.

Designed to layer

Pair linen with our sheer curtains, blackout drapery, or a roller shade for full day-to-night control, planned as one composition.

Good questions

Linen drapery, answered

Does linen drapery block light and give privacy?

Linen is naturally light-filtering. Left unlined, it glows with soft daytime light and gives daytime privacy, but like any light fabric it becomes more see-through at night once interior lights are on. Add a lining — or a hidden blackout layer — and the same linen works for full privacy and a dark bedroom.

Can linen curtains be motorized?

Yes. A quiet motor opens and closes them on a remote, the app, a schedule, or a voice command, and runs on the same smart-home motorization system as your other Starlight treatments.

What colours does the linen come in?

Our Pinecone linen comes in Off White, Beige, Brown, Grey, and Dark Grey — natural tones that suit most palettes. We bring full-size samples to your home so you can see the weave and colour in your own light.

Does linen wrinkle?

A little, and that relaxed character is part of linen's charm. We weight the hems and steam the panels at installation so they hang true, and the folds settle further over the first few weeks. A light steam now and then keeps them looking their best.

Is linen drapery good for bedrooms?

Yes — with the right lining. Unlined linen keeps a bedroom soft and bright; for darkness and full privacy we add a blackout lining behind the same linen face, so you keep the natural look with true light control.

How do I clean linen curtains?

A gentle vacuum with a brush attachment or a light steam keeps them fresh while they hang. Lined linen is usually best dry-cleaned to keep the panels hanging evenly; we'll note the exact care for your chosen fabric at installation.

Can I layer linen with sheers or blackout drapes?

Absolutely. Linen layers beautifully over a sheer or in front of a blackout drape or roller shade, so you can mix soft texture, daytime light, and full night-time darkness on one window.

How long does it take, and where do you install?

Most custom linen orders take about 2–3 weeks from your free in-home consultation to installation. We serve Toronto and across the GTA — Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Markham, and Mississauga — with showrooms in Scarborough and Mississauga.
