Our curtains were very difficult to install and the windows were not flat. The technician helped us do it well and communicated in a timely manner and pretended to like it very much. It’s true that I started looking for a place to get a shutter in Toronto two years ago. I went to Tracy’ store six times to see the actual items and discuss the size and where to install which kind of thing. I asked a lot of questions and they answered them patiently. California shutters (also called plantation shutters) are solid, hinged louvre panels installed directly into the window frame — they offer a built-in, architectural look, exceptional durability, and outstanding light control. Blinds are more versatile, lighter, and available in a wider range of materials and styles (roller, zebra, cellular, Roman, sheer). Shutters tend to have a higher upfront investment but rarely need replacing. Our consultants are happy to walk you through both in your home with no pressure.

From your in-home consultation to completed installation, most custom blind and curtain orders take 2 to 3 weeks. Rush timelines can sometimes be accommodated — ask your consultant.
